Despite its rear solid axles and enhanced Dana front, Wrangler is still Dodge's icon and the vehicle that empowers the reputation that enjoy the other Jeep models, now with improved on-road performance and a two-inch longer wheel base.

Jeep Wrangler is a 3.8-liter V-6 engine with 202 horsepower and 237 lb .-feet of torque is available in three different trims: Wrangler Unlimited X, Wrangler Rubicon, and Wrangler Sahara, all of them with improved fuel economy.

In addition to the basic models, there are nine colors with different door, top, and windshield combinations to choose from, hence every one can own a Wrangler that will look always unique by the side of other Wranglers, even observed from its wheels, available in 16, 17, and 18 inches.

New Wrangler's models keep the removable full-framed or half doors of their predecessors, offering exposed hinges with removable convertible tops and fold-down windshield.

Jeep Wrangler has dual-stage air bags and seat-mounted side air bags, besides enhanced door locks and power windows. However, if you are short on funds, the base model without bells and whistles is only $18,765.

Apart from the other two trims, Sahara and Rubicon, there is another Jeep Wrangler model; the Jeep Wrangler X, which includes the second-generation Command-Trac NV241, Trac-Lok limited-slip rear differential for extra torque and two-speed transfer case providing a 2.72:1 low-range gear ratio.

The Off-Road Rock-Trac NV241 with two-speed transfer case for a 4.0:1 low-range gear ratio is only available in the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon model, which comes with Goodrich Off-Road tires.

In 2007, Jeep Wrangler features more interior space than ever before, increasing comfort with a great and durable interior design and additional functionality into a brand new instrument panel, besides new high-back front bucket seats and a center stack.

Wrangler's body is now 5.5 inches wider and with overall sheet metal for a robust, strong presence, synonym of the brand name that in Wrangler has its best representative.

Jeep Vehicles starting in 2007 are offering the highest safety and security levels in the 66 years of the vehicle’s history, including electronic sensors that detect impending wheel lockup, anti-lock-braking system.

Panic brake conditions trigger the brake assistant that applies maximum braking power, in addition to the ABS system for steering control under extreme slippery and braking conditions.
